Gosh I can’t believe that it is the end of the month already. In some ways January has seemed endless and in other ways it has seemed like it has flown by. That’s all a bit of a contradiction isn’t it? Here’s to looking forward positively to February.
In this month’s Patchwork and Quilting magazine I have written a feature about my visit to Stitch and Knit fabric and haberdashery shop. Stitch and Knit is in Brookmans Park in Hertfordshire and is a lovely shop. It is a small shop but is crammed full of of fabric, yarn and haberdashery.

I do visit often and always come home with some lovely fabric but it was nice to sit down with Julia who owns the shop and hear about her journey. As you can imagine it hasn’t been easy operating a business in these challenging times but you can read all about the shop and Julia’s journey in the feature.
It was so good to be able to write something that was different to a pattern for a change. Do take a look.
