Welcome  to Patchwork Patterns.

I have an extensive range of face to face workshops on offer. Some are available as half days or evenings, while others are one, two or three day classes. I am happy to travel to groups or shops. Please visit the workshop page to see what I teach and then contact me on info@patchworkpatterns.co.uk for availability and cost.

I have a number of patterns for sale and these are available as PDFs, ready for instant download. Patterns can be purchased from my ETSY shop via this link where several payment options are available.

A selection of images from my workshops. Use the workshops link at the top of the page to see a complete list.

I have written six books and many patterns and features for Patchwork, Quilting and Sewing magazines.

  • Thank you to Icknield Quilters for having me today. We spent the morning working on textured blooms and stitched these small 3D appliquéd pictures in hoops. Great work everyone.

  • Yesterday I visited the New Horizons textile exhibition in Baldock, Herts. It’s a small but beautifully curated exhibition. The artists have worked to the theme Variations and there is a wide variety of interpretations to this theme. I took just a few pics of my favourites and they are as follows:
1. Autumn Walks by Teresa Dunn
2. Hidden Forest by Teresa Dunn
3. Full Garden by Stephanie Pettengell
4. Scapes by Connie Gilham
5. Apologies but didn’t get the maker
6. Details of the exhibition
It closes on Saturday if you are thinking of visiting.
  • Of course you have to go shopping while at FOQ and I had to have this gorgeous bundle of fabrics designed by @julianatextile
I need to come up with a quilty plan for them. Any suggestions?
  • A selection of photos of the winning quilts at FOQ. Makers details after each pic. My favourite is the sphere. The piecing is so detailed and how on earth do you construct a ball! Congratulations to all the winners. It’s been a visual feast.

A selection of photos of the winning quilts at FOQ. Makers details after each pic. My favourite is the sphere. The piecing is so detailed and how on earth do you construct a ball! Congratulations to all the winners. It’s been a visual feast.
