My Medallion quilt is now finished. I added a round of some retro styled appliqued flowers and then a narrow plain border and a wider plain outer border. I sent the quilt off to be long arm quilted by Cut&Alter and Abigail has made a fantastic job of it. She has quilted it with a swirly circular design in a pearl thread which allows the colours in the fabric shine through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I finished the quilt with a scrappy binding which was a good chance to use up some of the left over fabric scraps. I am so pleased with the quilt. The fabric choices are probably a bit softer than I usually use but it has been good to be subtle for a change! I think the quilting brings it all together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
